5. Close the release and Fast-slow Valve valve by
turning it clockwise until it is firmly closed.
6. Pump the handle or pedal until serrated saddle
nears workpiece. Then, open Fast-slow Valve by
turning it counterclockwise.
7. Keep ram and work piece aligned to ensure
center-loading.
NOTE: Stabilize work piece in a manner which
will not allow it to inadvertently fall from the bed
framewhen the load is removed.
8. Align ram and workpiece to ensure center-loading,
pump the handle or pedal. Do not overload
workpiece.
9. When work is completed, stop pumping the
handle. Slowly turn the release valve counter-
clockwise in small increments until ram is free
from work piece.
10. Once ram has fully retracted, remove work piece
from bed frame. Cautiously remove work piece
from press.
