IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
• Unplug unit when not in use.
• Do not plug unit in when empty.
• To protect against electrical hazards, do no! immerse power plug or unit in water or other liquid.
• Close supervision is necessary when used by or near children.
• Do not use unit for applications other than its intended use.
• The Smart Pot is designed to operate from 12-Volt DC power source only; do not attempt to power unit
from any other source.
• The Smart Pot has an automatic shut-off if the unit is empty or when the input voltage is tao high
or tao low.
• Do no! operate unit when vehicle is turned off as this will drain the battery.
USING YOUR SMART POT
• To fill Smart Pot, release hinged caver on the pot by pulling the latch opposite the handle gently
outward.
• Do not fill beyond the top of the measuring bar embossed on the front of the pot. This will hold
approximately 20 fluid ounces (0.56L).
• After filling, make sure the lid has been firmly snapped shut and plug the adapter into the 1 2-Volt power
port in your vehicle. Do not operate unit with vehicle turned off as this will drain the battery.
• Groove on pot must match up with !ab on base to operate properly.
• Turn the switch to the "On" position; the switch will illuminate. The white light at the bottom of the pot
will illuminate to confirm the pot is seated properly in the base.
• Heating lime may vary.
MOUNTING YOUR SMART POT
• Slip the mounting plate upward into the bracket on the side of the base unit.
• For temporary mounting: attach the plate to unit and si ide between two firm horizontal surfaces.
• For permanent mounting: screw the plate to a firm level surface be/ore attaching to unit.
CLEANING YOUR SMART POT
• Always unplug unit be/ore cleaning.
• Remove the pot from base and clean with warm soapy water; rinse thoroughly.
• Clean base unit with a slightly damp cloth. Do no! immerse in water.
• Smart Pot is no! dishwasher sale.
• Do not use abrasive cleaners on any part of the unit.
