Thank you for purchasing a vinyl wrap/skin for your NANUK case. While we use extremely high-quality,
automotive-grade 3M vinyl and adhesive, nothing is as durable as a NANUK case. Expect the wrap to be very
resilient, but under extreme conditions (like airline baggage handling) the wrap will show signs of wear.
Prior to installation, clean your Nanuk case using a microfiber cloth
and isopropyl alcohol.
Make sure your case is at least 70°F / 21°C before you install. Use
a hair dryer or heat gun to warm up your case.
Look at the skin kit and find the "A" section. This is a good place to
start. Align the cut out area with the Nanuk badge on the case. The
3M vinyl is pressure sensitive. You can remove and replace the
vinyl if it's not aligned correctly. Once aligned properly press down
and use the squeegee wherever possible.
Repeat this process for the rest the sections. Tip: align the straight
edges of the sections flush with the straight parts of the case prior
to pressing down.
Once you have installed all the pieces, moderately heat the vinyl
with a hair dryer or heat gun. This will help you see any areas that
need to be further pressed in place and also helps heat up the
adhesive which will result in a longer term bond.
