A. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
1. The device is intended exclusively for private and not for commercial use. Only use this device as describe in this
instruction manual.
2. Do not touch the hot surface. Keep the appliance out of reach of children.
3. Do not use coarse or abrasive sponges/cloths or steel wool to clean the appliance.
4. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capacities, or by persons lacking in experience or knowledge, unless they are supervised or instructed on the use of
this apparatus by a person responsible for their safety.Children should be supervised to ensure they do not play with
this appliance.
5. It is not recommended to move the fan during use unless in an emergency. On this occasion, wear gloves to protect
against burns or injury and hold the fan by the handle ①. Never place the fan on an unprotected surface if the base
is still hot.
B. HOW TO USE IT
Place the fan on a flat, smooth surface, ideally on your chimney or wood stove. Do not position the fan before or near the chimney.
Ensure handle ① is upright before placing on the stove.
Heat activates the fan: more commonly called "Seebeck effect" the generation of electricity is done by thermoelectric effect.
The fan activates as soon as the contact surface reaches 80 ° C. With its self-regulation, the higher the temperature of the heat source,
the higher the fan speed.
The fan is designed for use on chimneys or pans with a normal surface temperature of between 80 ° C and 250 ° C. Remove the fan from
the stove if the temperature exceeds 345° C.
Operation above the recommended temperature of 345 ° C may damage the fan and power generating units. For safety, use a
thermometer that you will place near your fireplace or stove.
C. CARE AND MAINTENANCE
Clean the product only with a dry or slightly damp, lint-free cloth.
Do not use abrasive cleaners to clean the unit.
