E3: Flow is not detected.
Note:
– The normal operating range of the flow sensor is between 2m
– If the daily filtration time is divided into several ranges and the times of the ranges are shorter than
the treatment time then this error may appear temporarily during the pauses between the ranges until
the treatment time is completed on the subsequent ranges.
Solution:
• Check that the filtration time is long enough to cover the entire treatment time.
• Check that the bypass allows enough water to pass through the cell and that the valves are set
correctly.
• Check that the filter is not clogged (if necessary, clean it).
• Check that the pump has sufficient flow
• Check that there is no debris or scale in the cell that could jam the sensor (clean it if necessary
«Cleaning the cell», page 36).
If all the above steps have been followed but the error persists, contact the after-sales service for a
possible replacement of the flow sensor.
E5: Salt content is too low.
Note: The normal operating range for salt concentration is 2700 to 4500 ppm.
Solution: Check the salt concentration measurement.
If necessary, add salt up to 3 g/l, as follows «Adding salt», page 30.
Once the correct level has been reached, the chlorinator should operate normally again.
E7: Total temperature sensor error
Solution: Contact SAV for a possible replacement of the temperature sensor.
E8
: Transformer output voltage error
Solution: Contact customer support for a replacement transformer.
E9: Output current error
Solution: Contact customer support for a replacement transformer or cell.
EA: Cell error
Solution:
• Check salt concentration. Correct if necessary.
• If error persists, contact customer support for a replacement cell.
EC: Electronics error
Solution:
• Unplug the transformer, wait one minute, then plug back in.
• If error persists, contact customer support for replacement electronic cards.
