Introduction :
This kit allows you to install a solar panel on the deck of your boat or any other vertical tube
with sufficient strength.
This kit can also be installed on isolated land sites.
The use of friction mounts allows the orientation of the solar panel to match the position of
the sun in any direction. This means you can optimise the panel's performance and increase
your energy production.
Kit contents :
A rigid solar panel (60W, 80W, 90W or 120W depending on the kit chosen).
A set of plastic clamps (qty. 6).
Two Ø25 mm tubes in 316L stainless steel (length: 1100 mm and 540 mm).
316L stainless steel T-fitting.
Three ø25 mm tube end caps.
Screws and bolts required for assembly :
x4 bolts M6x100 inox 316L.
x4 bolts M6x60 inox 316L.
x1 bolt M5x40 inox 316L.
x1 bolt M5x45 inox 316L.
x8 washers ø6 inox 316L.
x4 washers ø6 nylon.
x8 brake nut M6 inox 316L.
x2 brake nut M5 inox 316L.
Assembly (see photo on next page) :
A. First, assemble the vertical and horizontal tubes using the M5x40 bolt.
B. Fix the panel to the horizontal part of the support using the two brackets fitted with
M6x60 screws, as shown in diagram A-A (to avoid problems of corrosion between the stain-
less steel screws and the aluminium frame, use an interposing product such as «Tef Gel»).
C. Finish by installing the assembly on the chosen support (balcony, mullion, etc.) using the
double clamps.
