3. Place the egg shelf (3) onto the heating plate (6).
4. Pierce each egg at the bottom with the egg piercer (5) at the bottom of the measuring cup (4) to avoid cracking.
Carefully press the egg bottom on the egg piercer (5).
5. Place the eggs with the pierced side up evenly on the egg shelf (3).
6. Close the top cover (1).
7. Connect the power plug (8) to a properly installed 230V~ 50Hz wall outlet.
8. The power indicator (9) will turn on. No need to press any button.
9. When water finishes, the power indicator (9) and the appliance turn off automatically. Unplug the appliance.
10. Remove the top cover (1) only by taking hold of the handle.
11. Warning: Risk of scalding!
12. When opening, tilt the top cover (1) in such a way that the steam escapes from the handle.
13. Remove the egg shelf (3) from the appliance and chill under cold water to avoid further scalding.
14. Let the appliance cool down completely before further use or storage!
NOTES:
1. As the degree of cooking depends on several factors, it is advisable to use slightly more water in case of extra
big or cold eggs. If the eggs are undercooked, fill the heating plate (6) with some more water, press the power
button (10) to continue cooking.
2. Unplug the appliance to interrupt the cooking anytime.
To cook sunny side up eggs:
1. Place the appliance on a flat, level and dry surface. The surface should be non-slip and heat resistant.
2. Pour some water into the heating plate (6) without overfilling it.
3. Place the egg shelf (3) onto the heating plate (6).
4. Break slightly an egg into the bowl (2) and place the latter onto the egg shelf (3). Important note: Do not place
the bowl (2) directly onto the heating plate (6).
5. Close the top cover (1).
6. Connect the power plug (8) to a properly installed 230V~ 50Hz wall outlet.
7. The power indicator (9) will turn on. No need to press any button.
8. Unplug the appliance when the egg is cooked at the preferred consistency. Continue with point 10. of "Ope-
ration" section.
Cleaning and Storage
1. Unplug the appliance from the electric socket after use.
2. Do not clean it until the appliance is cooled down to avoid risk of burns!
3. Do not immerge the whole appliance into water or put it under running water!
4. Do not clean with a hard steel tool or abrasive sponge so as to avoid any surface damage!
5. Do not use aggressive or abrasive detergents to clean the appliance.
6. Remove all remaining water and residue from the appliance with a clean damp cloth.
7. If necessary, clean the body's surface with a clean damp cloth without using detergents.
8. Such parts as top cover (1), bowl (2) and egg shelf (3) can be cleaned in water with a dish washing detergent
or a sponge.
