2" Wafer New Construction Mounting Frame (2NCMFLP)
R equired Tools (not included): Safety Glasses, Gloves, Hammer, Hole Saw and Pliers.
The New Construction frame can be installed in either wood joist or suspended ceilings.
1. Before installation, check that the 2" new construction pan is complete and matches the
overview illustration below. The use of a hole saw is recommended to make the
precise cut required for this installation. Ceiling cutout is 2.5". (see Figure 1).
Wood Joist (Dry Wall)
2. Extend the bar hangers to fit between the
joists. Using the contour on the bar hanger
foot, line the plate up with line bottom of the
wood joist. Using a hammer, secure the frame
to the wood joist with the built in real-nails
Slide frame along bar hangers into desired
location. Use the locking screws or slot to
secure in place. (See Figure 2).

3. Attach the wafer junction box to the frame by
aligning the keyhole slots on the remote driver box
with the screws on the frame and sliding the box
down to secure.

Suspended Ceilings (T-Grid)
2. Line up the four (4) T-bar slots near the end of
frame with the bar hanger. Slip the hanger bar over
the T-bar and press the tabs against the back of
the T-bar to hold it in place. (See Figure 3).

3. Attach the wafer junction box to the frame
by aligning the keyhole slots on the remote
driver box with the screws on the frame and sliding
the box down to secure. See fixture installation
