INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE:
1.
Remove the protective cap from the electrode before use. First of all, clean the electrode
with distilled water and then dry it with dry filter paper.
2.
Press the ON/OFF button and immerse the meter in water. (Ensure that the device is only
immersed up to the mark.)
3.
Wait until the numeric display stops changing, then press the HOLD button and remove
the meter from the water. You can now read the result.
4.
Wipe the electrode dry after use. Switch off the device and put on the protective cap.
CALIBRATING THE PH
Immerse the electrode in the 6.86 pH buffer powder solution mixed with 250 ml distilled
water at a solution temperature of 25°C. Swivel the electrode slightly.
Adjust the trimmer with the enclosed screwdriver until the display shows a value of 6.9.
Immerse the meter into a 4.00 pH buffer powder or 9.18 buffer powder solution to
verify the value shown. Recalibrate the meter if the value does not match.
Important !Recalibration is required:
• After an extended period of disuse
• In the event of frequent use
Notes:
1.
Do not expose the device to heat or direct sunlight.
2.
Use a standard buffer solution for calibration. Incorrect calibration leads to measurement
inaccuracies, incorrect displays or device malfunctions.
