About these instructions
These instructions describe the mounting of the
electronically continuously adjustable HEWI S 50
WC module (picture 16 to 30) and the corresponding
prewall installation (picture 1 to 15). The following
variants and options (accessories) are described:
VARIANT A:
Flushing mechanism with button
VARIANT B:
Flushing mechanism sensor-controlled
OPTION C for both variants:
Connection option for washlet
OPTION D for both variants:
Connection option for HEWI support rail
• Mounting solely by authorised specialists.
• Use only original spare parts.
• Use only HEWI mounting materials.
Safety advice
Risk of injury from electric shock, connection to
230 V network must be carried out by an authorised
specialist.
Intended use
• Prewall installation for installation in drywalls
• Relevant processing guidelines of all trades
involved must be considered
• Mounting materials supplied are suitable for
concrete and solid sand-lime brick
• Additional mounting materials available from HEWI
• Only for commercially available wall-mounted WCs
with a depth of up to 700 mm
• Maximum load weight 400 kg

Warning and hazard notices
HEWI products are easy-care. Generally speaking,
an occasional wipe with a damp cloth is enough.
When using detergents, please observe
the following:
• Always unfold the floor support fully.
• The floor support must stand firmly on the floor.
• Improper mounting or use can lead to accidents
involving serious injuries.
• The maximum static load of the support rail is
not increased by using the floor support.
• In the event of damage, the floor support rail may
only continue to be used following inspection by a
specialist company responsible for maintenance.
