MODE D'EMPLOI
The compressor has a safety locking device to prevent accidents, making
it safer and more reliable. (Fig. A)
It has 4 flexible claws to fit a wide range of shock absorber springs and
is easy to use. (Fig. B).
CAUTION!
Do not compress the spring to the point where the coil windings touch.
CAUTION!
Do not compress the spring at the point where the jaws touch.
Ensure that the jaws and compressor body are properly aligned at all
times while compressing the spring.
For conical springs, the centerline of the spring must remain parallel to
the compressor body.
If necessary, use the extension block to keep the spring and compressor
body parallel.
Secure the strut with a clamp, vice or other suitable holding device.
