FUEL AND FUELING
WARNING
Always shut off engine before fueling. Never add fuel to a machine with
a running or hot engine. Move at least 10 ft. (3 m) from
refueling site before starting the engine. DO NOT SMOKE! Failure to
follow this warning could result in serious personal injury.
NOTE ! The chainsaw is equipped with a two-stroke engine and must always be run using a
gasoline and two-stroke oil mixture. It is important to accurately measure the amount of oil
mixed with gasoline to ensure the correct mixture. When small amounts of fuel are mixed, even
a small inaccuracy can dramatically affect the ratio of the mixture.
WARNING
Always ensure there is adequate ventilation when handling fuel.
DANGER
Fuel is very flammable. Use extreme care when mixing, storing or handling fuel
or serious personal injury may result.
