Remove the blade from the adjust-
ment tool by gently pushing the
blade from the opposite side.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
To maintain correct performance,
the blades must be regularly clea-
ned and oiled. They are removable
for easy cleaning.
• With the trimmer facing you,
push the blade up and away from
the trimmer to remove.
• Brush away the hair from the
blades and the interior of the
cutting head with the cleaning
brush.
• It is recommended to oil the
blades every time that the
trimmer is used, using the oil
provided. Never use any other
product: this oil was formulated
for high speed trimmers, it does
not evaporate or slow down the
blades.
• After cleaning click the blade
frame back in place.
DISPOSAL OF LITHIUM
POLYMER BATTERY
The trimmer has lithium polymer
batteries. To protect the environ-
ment, these batteries should be
removed and properly disposed of
when the unit is no longer opera-
ting. To remove the battery block
for disposal or recovery, follow
these instructions:
1. Disconnect the trimmer from the
electrical outlet.
2. Discharge the battery pack com-
pletely before removing.
3. Remove the blade and 5 screws.
NOTE: one screw is located un-
der the rating label.
4. Open cover.
5. Remove the screw that fastens
the printed circuit board to hou-
sing. Lift printed circuit board
out.
6. Unplug lithium-polymer battery
block.
7. To protect the environment, do
not dispose of your battery with
your ordinary household waste.
