DESCRIPTION OF CONTROLS AND CONNECTORS (see figures on page 3)
SOURCE Selector (15): To select one of the sources linked to the Cinch-RCA input connectors at
the rear of the unit: CD(1), TUNER(2) & AUX(3). Using a record turntable requires an external
phono preamplifier.
LEVEL knob (14): Enables increasing or decreasing the volume level on both left (L) and right (R)
channels simultaneously.
ON/OFF switch (13): Enables powering in or out,«0»to turn off and «1» to turn on. A pilot lamp
indicates status.
AC INPUT (1): For separate electric cord.
FUSE (10): Protection fuse. Must always be replaced by original value, european type (9mm X
5mm) 3A, 250V Slow Blow (type T).
Speaker connectors (4,5,6,7,8,9): Tube amplifiers have an output transformer to match the tube
impedence with the speakers'. Therefore you will have a choice between ап 4 ohms ога 8 ohms
impedence. For each speaker, you must use the black terminal (6) right channel and (7) left channel
for the negative and choose the red terminal corresponding to the closer impedence of your speaker.
For example, the red terminal (5) right channel and (8) left channel for 8 ohms or red terminal (4)
right channel and (9) left channel for 16 ohms. Using 4 ohms speakers on the 8 ohms terminal
creates no problem; you will however get less power.
Your amplifier has high-voltage terminals. For best results, use a good quality speaker cable, #14
gauge minimum.
You may use either a stripped strand, a banana type plug ога fork.
