Thank you for purchasing the KODAK Li-Ion Rapid Battery Charger. The
battery needs to be charged before using and takes approximately 3
hours or less. The battery can be charged and discharged
approximately 300 times. Additional KODAK Li-Ion Batteries are
available from dealers of Kodak products, or visit
www.kodak.com/go/batteries.
Easy Steps to Charging
1. Verify that you are loading a Li-Ion rechargeable battery. Do not load
other types into the charger.
2. Insert the battery into the charger with the +/- contacts facing the +/-
contact points in the charger.
3. Insert the plug that matches your power type then plug the charger
into a power outlet.
4. Verify that the red charge indicator light on the charger turns on. If
the light does not turn on, verify that the battery is inserted correctly.
5. Remove the battery and unplug the charger when the red
indicator light turns green. Charging takes approximately 3 hours or
less.

Follow these important tips to prevent overheating, electric shock, sparks,
leaks, or injury when handling and using the batteries and charger.

Battery Tips

• Charge only the KODAK Li-Ion Battery in this charger.
• Do not attempt to disassemble the battery.
• Always charge batteries prior to use, or if using after a long period
of non-use.
• Use only the KODAK charger with this battery.
• Do not use battery if there is a fluid leak, or if the battery is damaged.
• Do not expose battery to fire or heat.
• Do not solder to the battery.
• Do not carry or store batteries in contact with metal objects.
CAUTION: If battery fluid gets in your eyes, immediately flush with water
and contact a physician. If your skin or clothes comes in contact with
battery fluid, wash immediately with clean water.
Charger Tips
• Do not attempt to charge other battery types in this charger, as this
could result in fluid leakage, overheating, or damage to the battery
or charger.
• If the charger emits smoke, smell, or noise, remove charger from
power outlet immediately. Contact your dealer; do not attempt to
repair the charger yourself.
