FALZ 2.0 – standing seam roof

SECU

Anchor device Type A according to DIN EN 795:2012 and DIN CEN/TS16415:2017 for securing personal fall protection equipment.

PRELIMINARY REMARKS

Before installing the temporary anchor construction SECU

checked. The technical building regulations must be observed. Loads of up to 6 kN can occur at the single anchor point.

Attention!

The SECU

FALZ 2.0 anchor device must not be used as a lifting eye or for attaching loads. Only original parts of the SECU

FALZ 2.0 system must be used. Assembly may only be carried out by qualified personnel. These installation instructions and

the SKYLOTEC safety instructions must be read and understood.

ASSEMBLY

1. Place the SECU

FALZ 2.0 on the standing seam from above so that the grub screw is screwed into the

back of the rebate.

2. Tighten the grub screws with a tightening torque of 15-17 Nm.

The SECU

FALZ 2.0 may potentially obstruct the thermally induced length changes of the sheet if, despite the high

clamping point of the clamps, the foot of a sliding clip extends into the clamping area of the clamp. In such cases, the

FALZ 2.0 should be positioned so that the sliding clip is centered beneath the SECU

The correct positioning of the seam clamps on the standing seam profile must be checked before each use of the

temporary anchor device!

For clamping onto standing seam roofs

FALZ 2.0, the load-bearing capacity of the roof construction must be
