1.1
Safety
While working, the relevant accident prevention regulations according to the Occupational Health and
Safety Regulations of trade associations (BGV) C22 must be observed.
Furthermore, the appropriate regulations and standards are to be observed during installation, assembly,
maintenance, repair etc. For further information, refer to the corresponding sections of these instructions.
When conducting work on the system or parts, the entire system is to be put out of operation and must be
secured against being switched on in error or by unauthorised persons.
The tank lid must always remain closed, except when performing work in the tank, otherwise there is a
highest risk of accidents occurring.
4rain offers a wide range of accessories that are all compatible with each other and can be extended to
form complete systems. Using other accessories may compromise the functioning of the system and ex-
tinguish liability for any resulting damage.
1.2
Labelling requirement
All pipes and sampling points of the service water are to be labelled with the words "Water not for drink-
ing" in writing or graphically (DIN 1988 Part 2, para. 3.3.2.), in order to prevent accidental connection to
the drinking water supply even after several years. Even if correctly labelled, there can be confusion, for
example, by children. Therefore, valves must be installed with child safety feature on all service water
taps.
