f) Setting Ring for Torque
Turning the torque setting ring (2) permits setting of the desired torque from
which onwards the slip clutch will engage. This will prevent over-turning, e.g.
when turning in a screw. The screw will end flush with the material surface
when the torque setting is chosen accordingly.
The torque setting has 17 different positions and an additional position for
the drilling function (drill symbol, ideal for drilling holes).
Low setting:
Soft materials, small screws
High setting:
Hard materials, large screws
Drill symbol:
Slip clutch off
When turning out screws, a higher setting or the "drill" setting (drill
symbol) should be chosen.
g) Checking the Charge Condition of the Rechargeable Battery
Keep the small button (7) on the rechargeable battery pushed for a while.
The four LEDs (8) will thendisplay the charge condition of the rechargeable
battery.
When all four LEDs are out, the rechargeable battery is flat and must be
recharged.
The cordless screw driller switches off automatically when the
charge condition drops below a certain threshold, to prevent
deep discharge of the rechargeable battery.
Then recharge the rechargeable battery.
h) LED
When the on/off switch (9) is pushed, the LED (10) will be activated automat-
ically to permit lighting of the working position.
