Problem
Heating element
does not glow red.
Do not feel heat or
air flow.

Troubleshooting
Cause
1. Heating element is
ceramic and will not
glow red to produce
heat.
1. No power to heater.
2. Heater is not on a solid
surface.
3. Desired room
temperature reached.
1. Heater is operating correctly.
1. Check power connections
/ connect heater to power
supply. Main power
indicator light should be on.
2. Heater is equipped with
a tip-over switch on the
bottom of the heater. Make
sure the heater is on a solid
surface.
3. Thermostat will shut
off once desired room
temperature is reached.
Heater is operating correctly.
