SOUND MODE
PLAYING A TONE
Press the [TONE] button to enter Tone mode. The
LED display will show "t" followed by the current
tone number. Then use the numbered keys to select
different sounds, or scroll through them using the
[<] and [>] buttons.
TRANSPOSE
To transpose the pitch of the keyboard by semi-
tones, use the [TRANSPOSE / ] buttons. Pressing
both the [ ] and [ ] buttons simultaneously will
reset the keyboard to its default pitch.
CHORD MODES
Press the [SINGLE CHORD] or [FINGER CHORD]
buttons to enter Chord mode. This splits the
keyboard, allowing you to play chords with your left
hand and melodies with your right.
In Single Chord mode, you can play chords with
your left hand using single notes.
In Finger Chord mode, you can play chords with
your left hand using multiple notes. This is a great
learning tool, as no notes will be heard until a chord
is played correctly.
RECORD
To record your performances press the [REC]
button to enter Record mode. Now, when you start
playing the notes will be recorded. When recording
is finished, press [PLAY] to listen back to your
performance.
Please note: rhythms cannot be recorded and
recordings will not be saved when the keyboard is
powered off/on.
RHYTHM MODE
SELECTING A RHYTHM
Press the [RHYTHM] button to enter Rhythm mode.
The LED display will show "r" followed by the
current rhythm number. Then use the numbered
keys to select different rhythms, or scroll through
them using the [<] and [>] buttons.
PLAYING A RHYTHM
Press the [
] button to start/stop the selected
rhythm. If you want playback to begin in sync with
your playing, press the [SYNC] button to put the
playback in standby. Now, the rhythm will begin as
soon as you start playing the keyboard.
FILL IN
Press the [FILL IN] button at any time during rhythm
playback to insert a drum fill at the end of the
current bar.
INTRO / ENDING SECTIONS
To start rhythm playback with an intro drum fill to the
selected beat, press the [INTRO/ENDING] button.
This button can also be pressed at any time during
rhythm playback to add an end section to the beat.
Rhythm playback will stop once the end section has
concluded.
SONG MODE
LISTENING TO SONGS
Press the [SONG] button to enter Song mode. Use
the [<], [>] buttons to select a song and the [PLAY/
STOP] button to start/stop playback. You can change
the tempo using the [TEMPO] and [ ], [ ] buttons.
Exit Song mode by pressing either [SOUND] or
[RHYTHM] when playback is not active.
LESSON MODE
Press the [LESSON] button to enter Lesson mode
and use the [<], [>] buttons to select a song to learn.
The song will automatically begin playing on a loop
for you to familiarise yourself with before you begin
learning. Once you are ready to play, press any key
at any time and the song will restart. Your first note
will appear on the screen and the song will not
continue until you have correctly played the note.
To exit the lesson at any time, press [LESSON] or [
].
MIDI CONNECTION
This instrument is equipped with a standard
USB interface which allows the instrument to
be connected to a computer. Once connected,
most computers will automatically recognise
the instrument and allow MIDI messages to be
transmitted between the two devices via the USB-C
cable.
