Speed setting
The desired speed can be set by changing the positioning of the belts.
Thanks to its 18-speed motor, the TFD-30TE model has 18 speeds per V-belt position. Proceed as follows:
1.
Switch off the machine.
2.
Open the V-belt cover.
3.
Loosen the set screws (30).
4.
Press the motor against the head housing using the lever (26) to release the V-belts.
5.
Place the V-belts in the desired position in the pulleys.
6.
Tension the V-belts by means of the lever (26) and tighten the set screws (30). (Arrow: approx. 1 cm).
7.
Close the V-belt cover and start the machine.
