- Page 10 Other Important Notes • MIN indicates the warmest setting. • MAX indicates the coldest setting. • Setting the thermostat dial in the middle of the MIN-MAX range should be sufficient for regular home use. • Setting the thermostat to MAX in the “FREEZING” range will cause the compressor to run continuously and will make the interior very cold.
- Page 11 HELPFUL HINT: Defrosting usually takes a few hours. Leaving the door open will help speed the process. Also, pouring warm water (not boiling) on the ice/frost will help speed melting. If you must use a scraper- please use caution - it is very easy to damage the freezer compartment and void your warranty.
