Warning - batteries / button cells
• If the battery compartment will no longer close securely, stop using the product
and keep it away from children.
• This product contains button cells. If the button cell is swallowed, serious
internal burns can occur within 2 hours and ultimately lead to death.
• If you suspect that a button cell has been swallowed or is in
any part of the body, seek medical attention immediately.
• Keep new and used button cells out of the reach of children.
4. Batteries
Initial start-up / Replacing the battery:
• To do this, use a screwdriver to loosen the two screws and remove the clip-on clip (A).
Now open the battery compartment by removing the cover. Now remove the
contact breaker and close the battery compartment again by replacing the battery
compartment cover and refastening the clip-on clip with the two screws. When
changing the battery, remove and dispose of the used battery if necessary and insert
a new battery (LR44) (A). Take care to ensure the correct polarity as shown in the
diagram in the battery compartment (A).
Connection to a smartphone, laptop or tablet:
• Move the slide control to the 'OFF/Phone' position. (B)
• Connect the 3.5-mm jack plug to the socket on your terminal device. (B)
• No additional power supply is required in order to use the microphone with the
terminal device (smartphone etc.).
Connection to a DSLR, camcorder, audio devices or a PC:
• Switch on the microphone by moving the slide control to the 'Camera' position. (C)
• Connect the 3.5-mm jack plug to the socket on your terminal device. (C)
• After use, set the device to the 'OFF/Phone' position to switch off the microphone.
• No additional power supply is required in order to use the microphone with the
terminal device (DSLR, etc.).
