Operating
You can control the appliance using the LCD screen on the
base or with the remote control. If the remote control is not
working, make sure it has a battery installed and that the
plastic insert has been removed in order to activate the
battery.
•
Place the appliance on a level and firm surface.
•
Do not operate the appliance without water.
•
To fill the tank, remove the water tank cover and pour water into
the water tank; do not pour water through the central hole. Wait
a few minutes before starting the appliance.
•
The water must not exceed the level of the rod in the water
tank.
•
Put the water tank cover back in the correct position, as shown
in the picture below.
•
You can take the aroma box out of the base and put oil on the
aroma sponge if you wish. 3 to 5 drops of oil on the sponge are
usually adequate, depending on the quality of the oil and the
desired aroma strength. Wash the sponge and dry it well after
use.
•
Make sure the filter is properly positioned.
•
Plug in the appliance then touch the ON/OFF icon on the base
or on the remote control. The appliance will beep once. The
LCD screen will come on. The display will show the humidity %
in the vicinity of the appliance and the function that is selected.
Mist will start coming out after several seconds.
•
Press the SPEED icon on the base or on the remote control to
adjust the output of mist: low – medium – high.
•
Press the TIMER icon on the remote control to set a duration for
mist production: 1, 2, ......, 11, 12 hours.
•
Press the HUMIDITY icon on the base or on the remote control
to set the desired humidity: 45%, 50%, ......, 85%, 90%.
Note: When the appliance is on, it displays the current humidity
level. When the humidity level reaches the % you set, the
appliance will stop misting.
•
Be aware that there may be a discrepancy between the reading
on your home humidity meter and the reading given by the
