1. Choose mounting locations on the back of the trailer for the red stop, tail, turn light so they are on the outermost left and right edges of
the trailer 15" to 60" above the road surface. The smaller red side lens on each light should be pointing outward toward the side.
When installed. the lens exterior must be visible at least 45 degrees to the right and left of and 20 degrees from above or below the trailer.
In each mounting location drill two holes on 2" centers.
2. Included
in
the kit are 2 short brown wires, 1 yellow and 1 green. Push 1 end of each brown wire into corresponding holes on the rear of
each red taillight. Push 1 end of green wire into right-hand light in hole marked stop and turn (green), and push 1 end of yellow wire into
left-hand light in hole marked stop and turns (yellow). There are two holes for each wire. Choose either one. Wire will slide in and lock
into place.
3. Choose stop-tail-turn light with yellow wire and clear window on bottom of housing. Insert bolts through top two holes in license bracket
with smooth surface of bracket facing outward. Mount this light and bracket to driver's side of the trailer with small,
red,
side lens facing
out to the side. Attach
the
other light to the other side of the trailer. Affix with lock nuts provided and tighter. Lamps are grounded
through the mounting bolts. Make sure solid contact is achieved to steel frame of the trailer. Lamps will not function without a good
ground.
4. Place the plug end of long wiring harness at tongue of trailer. Attach the white wire to a grounded location using eyelet terminal and
self-tapping screw.
5. Route yellow/brown wire along driver's side of trailer frame. Attach 3 metal clips to wire and clip to trailer frame along the way. Make
certain wiring does not hang down
or
drag.

is
the tail lamp function and the yellow wire is the stop function.

8. Strip the ends of the brown and green wires and connect to the corresponding wires on the right hand tail lamp using the wire nuts
provided. The brown wire is the tail lamp function and the green wire
is
the stop function.
9. Mount the amber side marker lights near the front edge of the trailer. Drill holes to attach lights to either side. Lamp is grounded
through bolt so make sure a good ground is achieved. Attach black wire from each light to the brown wire on each side using
snap-lock connectors provided. Do not mount these lights on trailer tongue or forward of angle surfaces.
TEST
SYSTEM:
1. Reconnect the battery.
2. Plug trailer harness to vehicle harness.
3. When headlamps are turned on, rear tail lamps should come on as well as amber side marker lights if so equipped. The

opposite is true.
4. If lights do not function properly, check all ground connections.
