• AC Voltage
To avoid electrical shock and/or damage to the instrument, do not apply more 600VAC RMS.
1. Connect the black test lead to the COM jack and the red test lead to the V jack.
2. Set the rotary selector at the desired V range.
3. Press FUNC. to select the AC range.
4. Connect the test leads with the source or the load under measurement.
5. Read the displayed value.
6. The meter indicates an overrange when OL is displayed. Select a higher range. Select the highest range when
the value to be measured is unknown.
• DC Current
To avoid electrical shock and/or damage to the instrument, never measure a live circuit.
1. Connect the black test lead to the COM jack and the red test lead to the mA jack for currents of max. 400mA. For
a max. of 10A, connect the red test lead to the 10A jack.
2. Set the rotary selector at the desired A range.
3. Press FUNC. to select the DC range.
4. Connect the test leads in series with the load under measurement.
5. Read the displayed value.

• Resistance Measurement
To avoid electrical shock and/or damage to the instrument, disconnect the circuit power and
discharge all high-voltage capacitors before measuring resistance.
1.
Connect the black test lead to the COM jack and the red test lead to the Ω jack.
2.
Set the rotary selector at the desired Ω range.
3.
Press FUNC. to select the Ω range.
4.
Connect the test leads with the resistance.
Note:
• For resistance > 1MΩ, the meter may take a few seconds before stabilizing the reading.
• When the input is not connected, overrange will be displayed as 1.
