Use
Removing the wheel hub:
1.
Select the appropriate jack screws (no. 20 or 21) and screw these into your wheel
hub.
2.
Rotate the wheel hub to the disassembly position. This is achieved when the jack
screws can be supported on components of the wheel bearing housing.
3.
Next, tighten the jack screws one by one.
Tip: Tighten the jack screws as uniformly as possible to prevent the
wheel hub from tilting in the wheel bearing.
If your vehicle has only one support, proceed as follows:
1.
Turn one side of the wheel hub over the support and pull the wheel hub out of the
wheel bearing a little using a jack screw.
2.
Loosen the jack screw a little again.
3.
Turn the wheel hub 180° (head-first).
4.
Pull the wheel hub out of the wheel bearing a little again using another jack screw.
5.
Repeat steps 2 through 4 several times until the wheel hub is removed.
