1.
Remove the battery earth cable.
Clear the entrance to both rearlightunits.
2.
Lead the wire-end with the yellow, red, grey an black wires through the opening at the left rearlightunit towards the socket.
Lead the wire-end with the green, white and brown wires through the opening at the right rearlightunit towards the socket.
Route the wire-ends underneath the vehicle and fit them with the supplied wire ties.
3.
Pull the coverplate over the wiringharness.
Remove the contactholder from the socket and fit the wires as follows:
Trailer lighting:
Left turn signal
Rearfoglight
Earth
Right turn signal
Right taillight
Brakelights
Left taillight
Rearfoglight
4.
Fit the other ends of the harness as follows:
On both rearlightunits connectors are located. Disconnect them.
Fit the connectors of the harness with the green and brown wires between the cleared connectors of the right side.
Fit the connectors of the harness with the yellow, red and grey wires between the cleared connectors of the left side.
On the left rearside of the vehicle, near the waterreservoir , a 2-pole connector is located. Disconnect it and fit the connectors with the grey and
blue wires between those.
Fit the white wire to chassis earth.
5.
Mount the socket on the towbar plate.
Reconnect the battery and check all electric functions, with trailer/caravan connected.
Reinstall disassembled parts.
