Het hoogteverschil tussen de ophangpunten is
maximaal 1,0 meter per 30 meter afstand.

Bij het (na)spannen dient de grondspeling van het
zitje gecontroleerd te worden met de statische
belasting van 69,5 kg. De afstand tussen de
onderkant van het zitje en de grond moet overal
minimaal 0,35 m bedragen. De initiële doorbuiging
van de kabel dient 3% te bedragen. Wanneer hierbij
de vrije ruimte onder de zitting onvoldoende is, dient
de contour van de valbodem te worden aangepast of
de lengte van de pendelzit te worden ingekort (tot
minimaal 1,80 m). De vrije ruimte onder het zitje
dient regelmatig gecontroleerd te worden.
Bij maximale spanning op de kabel mag de snelheid
van de pendelzit niet groter zijn dan 7
meter/seconde. Dit betekend dat het zitje rennend bij
te houden moet zijn.
De stopper dient zo geplaatst te worden dat bij het
doorslingeren van de pendel er op 45° nog 2 meter
vrije ruimte is voor de gebruiker.

of 1,0 meters per 30 meters maximum.

The clearance between the seat and the surface has
to be checked regularly. When re-adjusting, the
clearance of the seat and surface has to be checked
by using a static load of 69,5 kilograms. The
clearance should be at least 0,35 meters. When the
clearancece between the seat and the ground is is
less than 0,35 meters, the surface has to be
amended, creating sufficient clearance, or the length
of the seat has to be shortened (to a minimum of
1,80 meters).
The initial bending of the cable should be 3%. With
the tension on the cable at its
maximum, the velocity of the seat should not be
faster than 7 meters per second. I.e. a running person
should be able to keep up with the speed of the seat.
The stop has to be placed in such a way that the seat
will leave at least 2 meters of free space at an angle
of 45°.
