B. Test your alarm
Test the detector to ensure proper operation by pressing the test button. The alarm will sound if the
detector is working well. If there is no sound, refer to the "Trouble shooting" section.
CAUTION
DO NOT test your detector using an open flame. This may
damage the detector or ignite combustible materials and
start a structural fire.
DO NOT stand close to the detector when the alarm is
sounding. Exposure at close range may be harmful to your
ears.
Test the detector at least once a month.
C. LED indicators

Green LED flashes once every 60 seconds.
Red LED flashes 4 times and beeps 4 times every 5 seconds.
Red LED flashes once every 8 seconds.
Orange LED flashes 1 time and 1 beep every 60 seconds.
Orange LED flashes 2 times and 2 beeps every 40 seconds.
Orange LED flashes 2 times and 2 beeps every 30 seconds.
