MAINTENANCE (THIS COMPRESSOR IS OIL LUBRICATED). CONTROL ITS LEVEL
•
The recommended oil is SAE 15W / 40 type or similar.
•
The first oil change should be done after 100 hours of operation.
•
Regularly check the oil level in the sight glass.
•
At the end of the work, drain the condensation from the air in the tank with the drain.
•
Check for any unusual noise or vibration.
•
In case of transport and / or storage, the compressor must not be exposed to temperatures
outside the range: + 5ºC to + 40ºC.
•
In the event of a malfunction or breakdown, do not attempt to repair it unless you have the
proper technical qualifications and tools. Contact one of our technical services, which you
will find on our website www.grupocevik.es.
•
Inspect the air system for possible leaks at least once a month by applying soapy water to
all joints. Tighten or replace any that you discover are leaking.
•
Clean the equipment with a soft brush or a damp cloth, using a biodegradable solvent. Do
not use flammable liquids such as gasoline or alcohol.
•
The air filter is placed in the air inlet of the compressor and helps prevent airborne particles
from entering the interior of the compressor and significantly reduces noise. After being
used for long periods of time the filter must be cleaned. The fact that it is dirty causes the
inlet to reduce the amount of air. For this reason, the filter must be periodically cleaned or
replaced regularly:
-
Remove the filter cover and replace the old one.
-
Replace with a new filter and put the cap back on.
STORAGE.
If you need to store the equipment for a long time, then:
1. Turn the pressure switch to the off position.
2. Disconnect the equipment from the electrical contact.
3. Empty the tank through the safety valve.
4. Clean the compressor to remove impurities or dust.
5. Cover the compressor, so that dust does not enter.
6. Place the compressor in a dry place.
7. Do not place objects on top.
