Maintenance
Lenses
− Do not wipe the lens to remove loose or debris, but gently blow it away or use a soft
lens brush instead.
− Fingerprints may affect the lens surfaces after some time. The easiest way to clean the
lens surface is to breathe on them and lightly wipe them using a clean optics-cleaning
cloth.
− Use of a coarse cloth or unnecessary rubbing may scratch the lens surface and
eventually cause permanent damage.
− Do not use a velvet cloth or ordinary tissue, as it may scratch the lens surface.
− A cloth that has been used for cleaning the body of the product should not be used on
the lens surface.
− For a more thorough cleaning, camera lens cleaning wipes may be used.
Main body
− Clean the body surface with a soft clean cloth. Do not use benzene, thinner, or any
other cleaners containing organic solvents.
Storage
− Water condensation or mold may occur on the lens surface due to high humidity. Avoid
this by storing the monocular in a cool, dry place. After use on a rainy day or at night,
allow the product to dry completely at room temperature before storing it in a cool,
dry place.
