Recommended installation steps for 2-1/2 in. deep boxes, 1/2 in. thick drywall and 2 in. x 4 in. studs
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Line up the bracket with the openings in the
box and insert the screws that are supplied.
IMPORTANT
Read and understand all instructions and

CAUTION: Product should be installed
by a qualified electrician in accordance
with national and local electrical codes.

2. Screw the bracket into the wood stud. Secure
with 2 screws no. 8 of 3/4" minimum
Additional instructions:
The Adjustable Support Bracket is preset for use with boxes that are 2-1/2 in. deep in drywall that is 1/2 in.
thick using wood studs that are 2 in. x 4 in.. For any other combinations, the bracket will have to be modified
before installation.
Adjusting the bracket to the depth of the box:
Align edge
with guides
Using the guides built into the bracket,
adjust the depth of the box to fit the
applications.
Adjusting the bracket
for 2 in x 3 in studs:
When used on 2 in. x 3 in. stud, the offside support bracket must be folded in.
Installation between two studs:
When used to support a box between two studs, the Adjustable Support Bracket must be mounted to the
boxes before mounting to the studs.
