POWER SUPPLY: Powered at 12 V. DC, we recommend the FE-2, as it adapts perfectly to the needs of the circuit.
Connect the positive of the source to the positive pin indicated in the drawing, then perform the same operation with
the negative.
Place the power supply as close to the RJ-5 as possible.
Make sure that you have carried out the assembly correctly.
Use a power supply for the RJ-5, and another independent one for the transmitter. If this is not possible, try to place
the power supply as close as possible to RJ-5 and run the cables to the RJ-4 transmitter.
OPERATION: Please note that the location and connection of the circuit will be crucial for its operation. Install the
circuit on a solid, flat surface.
To ensure perfect operation, the receiver and transmitter must be perfectly aligned on the same imaginary axis.
Direct light can affect the operation of the RJ-5, especially if it is sunlight, therefore, we recommend that you protect it
appropriately.
INSTALLATION. Do not install any surface in front of the phototransistor, including transparent glass, as this will
reduce or eliminate its reception capacity.
