Battery Disposal
Batteries must not be disposed with household waste, as they may contain substanc-
es harmful for the environment and health. Exhausted batteries can be deposited at
public collection points of the community or recycling centers in your area. To prevent
heating by short circuits, batteries must be unloaded before, the poles suggest to be
protected by using an insulating tape or other measures to be protected against short
circuit.
