To ensure safe handling, all users must read these instruction manual.
The DOLMAR pressurised water tank may only be used as a water container in con-
junction with a power cutter!

Check for proper functioning before every use, paying special
attention to tightness of hose connection and hose couplings.
Look for signs of cracking, brittleness and corrosion.

Do not expose the pressurised water tank to strong sunshine for
long periods. Operating temperatures must not exceed 50° C.

Clean tank thoroughly straight after use, then allow to dry well
(see also Emptying and Servicing).

The pressurised water tank must be checked by a competent
person at least every 2 months to see whether safe opera
tion is still possible. The manufacturer's instructions must be
observed.

Observe directives for sprayers (ZH / 406).
If a unit is not in use the checkup may be deferred until the
next time it is used. (See also Emptying and Servicing)

Technical data:

Pressurised Water Tank:
Max. water capacity
Total capacity
Max. operating pressure
Max. operating temperature
Operation:

Connect pressure hose to tank and fasten with hose clip.
Attach quickrelease coupling (see mains/pressurised water
equipment) to other end of pressure hose with hose clip.

Switch off water valve at the power cutter (lever at right angles
to length of cutting tool). Connect quickrelease coupling to
hose connection on the power cutter.

Unscrew pump from tank by pressing in pump handle and
turning to left.

Fill water into tank (do not exceed maximum water capacity).

Insert pump and tighten carefully.

Operate pump until a pressure of 6 bar is reached (red mark
on pressure gauge). Optimum spraying pressure for efficient
distribution of sprayed liquid is 2 6 bar.

Start the power cutter and move into working position. Open
water valve and perform work. When work is complete, close
water valve.

If unit will not be used for a long period, actuate pressure relief
valve red button until unit is completely depressurised.
emptying and Servicing:

Operate pressure relief valve red button until unit is com
pletely depressurised.

Carefully unscrew pump by turning handle to left only a few
turns to start with to allow any residual pressure in tank to es
cape. Then unscrew pump completely and remove from tank.

After every use clean the unit thoroughly with water (rinse out
several times) and allow to dry, if possible hanging up with
opening at bottom.

Protect the pressurised water tank from frost.

caution:
We would point out that under the German Product Liability
Act we cannot be held liable for damage caused by our
device if such damage is due to improper repair or failure
to use original DOLMAR replacement parts and the repair
has not been carried out by our after-sales service or by
an authorised expert. This also applies to accessories.

The service life of the pressurised water tank is considerably
increased if the sealing ring between pump and tank, and also
the inner Oring, are greased from time to time with a resinfree
and acidfree grease.

Important: Premature wear of this unit may be caused by
heavy strains arising from the mode of operation (including
transport to place of use and storage conditions when not in
use), and also by inadequate care and maintenance. For this
reason, always check the unit before use to see that it is in a
safe and serviceable state and that there are no visible signs
of damage. At least every five years, and especially in the
event of any faults presenting a safety risk, the unit should
be checked by an expert, preferably from the manufacturer's
service department, to make sure that the unit is still safe to
use.

Repairs to the DOLMAR pressurised water tank must only be
performed by a DOLMAR Service Centre. This should prefer
ably be done during the winter months when the unit is in any
case virtually unused. A list of Service Centres is supplied
with this unit; alternatively, consult the representative stated
on the back of these instructions. Always order spare parts
from your authorised DOLMAR dealer; if they are not in stock,
he will obtain them as quickly as possible. To find your local
distributor,please visit www.dolmar.com
