Use and care instructions
a) When the product is placed on a live tree, the tree should be well maintained and fresh. Do not
place on live trees in which the needles are brown or break off easily. Keep the live-tree holder
filled with water.
b) If the product is placed on a tree, the tree should be well secured and stable.
c) Before using or reusing, inspect product carefully. Discard any products that have cut, damaged,
or frayed wire insulation or cords, cracks in the lampholders or enclosures, loose connections,
or exposed copper wire.
d) When storing the product, carefully remove the product from wherever it is placed, including
trees, branches or bushes, to avoid any undue strain or stress on the product conductors,
connections, and wires.
e) When not in use, store neatly in a cool, dry location protected from sunlight.
USER SERVICING INSTRUCTIONS
To Replace a Fuse:
A) Power supply cord fuse replacement (replaceable 3 A, 125 V fuse is located in the plastic bag):
1. Grasp plug and remove from its power source.
2. Locate blown fuse by sliding access cover on top of plug towards prongs.
3. Remove blown fuse by turning the plug over. Fuses should fall into your hand (gentle
tapping may be required).
4. Locate spare replacement fuse in plastic bag.
5. Insert spare replacement fuse. Close fuse cover by sliding fuse access cover towards the cord.
CAUTION:
To reduce risk of fire, replace fuse in power supply cord with only 3 A, 125 V
fuse. Do not replace attachment plug.
Discard product if the attachment plug is damaged.
To Replace a Lamp:
1. Grasp plug and remove from the receptacle or other outlet device. Do not unplug by pulling on cord.
2. Unlock the burned out LED lamp by lifting the hook.
3. Pull lamp and plastic base straight out of lampholder.
4. Replace lamp with only 3.0 Volt, 20 mA push-in type LED lamp (provided with product). Always
match the hook to the tab.
5. Lock the hook of lamp base by pushing lock down into the tab.
Unlock
If the lamp base of the replacement lamp does not fit in the string: (as shown below by the Figs.)
a) Pull the reflector out.
b) Straighten the two wires on the end of the original burned-out lamp and remove the lamp base.
c) Straighten the wires on the end of the new lamp and remove
the lamp base.
d) Guide the two wires of the new lamp into the two holes of the original
lamp base and bend the wires back (always match the long lead of new
lamp to the hook on lamp base).
e) Insert the reflector into the base.
Connecting Sets End to End (for connect multiple products)
When multiple products are connected together, do not exceed the lowest of the indicated maximum wattage
on the cord tag near the connected product's receptacle.
