Portability: The MB48B is designed to be portable. The fully assembled brake weighs about 99 pounds (44.9 kg). The assembled brake can be carried safely by two people
or quickly separated into a table assembly and anvil assembly for one person transport. Each separate assembly weighs about 49 pounds (22.2 kg). Separate the anvil
assembly from the table assembly as follows: (A.) Remove clamp shoulder screws from the table end plates and clamp riser. Tip: Store the screws by reinserting into the
table end plates without passing through the clamp risers. Caution: The anvil assembly weighs about 49 pounds (22.2 kg) when all 16 fingers are attached. (B.) Lift
the anvil assembly out of the anvil position plates. The brake can now be transported in two separate assemblies. • Reassembly: (C.) Place the brake table on a sturdy
surface that will not tip over, such as a workbench, a pickup truck tailgate, or on the optional leg kit (MBL). (D.) Align anvil over table such that anvil pivot pins are positioned
within the anvil position plate slots. Tip: Hold bottom of anvil end plates parallel to table while inserting into position. (E.) Insert the shoulder screws through the clamp
risers and into the table end plates. The shoulders of the clamp shoulder screws should be fully engaged within the table end plates. Shoulder screws should be hand tight.
