DESCRIPCIÓN
Muy útil para estudiantes en la clase de biología elemental, porque permite cortar secciones para el
examen microscópico de diversos organismos. Placa superior de latón con agujero centrado. El cabezal
fresado en la base al girar registra 10 micras por clic.
INSTRUCCIONES
1. Desenrosque el disco circular y ajuste el cabezal giratorio inferior al nivel del disco circular y haga
coincidir el cero del disco circular con el cero del pilar del cuello.
2. Ahora está listo para trabajar con la muestra del organismo. Coloque la muestra fusionada con
cera en el eje central del micrótomo de mano.
3. Recorte la muestra bruta del micrótomo con la ayuda de una cuchilla hasta que quede totalmente
plana.
4. Ahora ajuste la escala circular girando el botón graduado para cortar la muestra del organismo
según el espesor que desee.
Recuento mínimo:
El recuento mínimo del instrumento es de 10 micras.
Precaución:
Prestar especial atención en el momento de realizar el corte del organismo.
Mantenimiento:
Después del uso, limpie el micrótomo de polvo, partículas de agua y residuos de muestra del orga-
nismo.

INSTRUCTIONS
1. Unscrew the circular dial and set the rotating head below to the circular disc level and match the
zero of circular dial with zero provided on neck pillar.
2. Now this is ready to work with organism sample. Place the organism sample merged with wax
on the centre axle of hand microtome.
3. Cut out the rough organism sample from the microtome with the help of razor until it will get
fully flat.
4. Now adjust the circular scale by just rotating the graduated knob to cut the organism sample as
per your desired thickness.
Least count:
The least count for the instrument is 10 microns.
Precaution:
Keep the special attention on the time of performing the cutting of organism.
Maintenance:
After use clean the microtome against any dust, water particles and residuals of organism sample.
