Introduction
IMPORTANT: Read these instructions carefully before using the VALKEE NPT 110
bright light headset ('the device'). These instructions contain important information
about the safe and appropriate use and care of the device.
Keep these instructions for further reference and for other users.
Check that the package contains the following:
• VALKEE NPT 1100 bright light headset
• these instructions
• a USB cable
• 12 silicone fittings
Clinical studies have shown that bright light treatment carried out with a bright light
headset efficiently alleviates symptoms of seasonal affective disorder, such as
depression and anxiety. The clinical studies have shown no significant detrimental side
effects. However, the effects of bright light treatment vary greatly, depending on each
individual. Please read the section of these instructions entitled 'Recommendations for
use' carefully.
The duration and efficiency of treatment with the device can be adjusted via a
Web-based interface. For further instructions, please see the end of these instructions.
The device has been granted a CE marking, and it is manufactured in Finland by
VALKEE Oy.
