  • Page 3 Control unit. Caution: The quaRay Control unit is not waterproof and therefore must not be mounted above the aquarium or in any position where it may accidentally fall into water or be splashed by water.
  • Page 4 They will provide friction when placing the quaRay Control unit on a horizontal surface. The unit can be mounted on a vertical surface using the screws supplied in the fixing kit. These engage into the keyhole slots on the back of the unit.
  • Page 5 • Pressing the MODE button will cycle through the available modes (see table overleaf). If no button is pressed for 5 minutes, the quaRay Control unit will return to ‘RUN’ mode. • Holding a button down will cause an auto-repeat of that button.

  • Page 9 Frequently sked Questions The quaRay Control Unit has two channels – does it work for just one light unit? Yes. To control a single quaBeam, plug the power supply into Input 1 and plug the quaBeam into Channel 1. The controller will now control the single quaRay using the input settings for Channel 1.
