Operation
Check the battery level of the internal battery before each use. Fully charge
the internal battery before each use.
Ensure that the connection specifications for your mobile device comply
with the connection data for the product (see technical data).
Always read the operating instructions for your mobile device.
Do not short-circuit the USB ports.
a) Checking the battery level
• To check the battery level, insert the USB-A connector (5) on the multifunctional ball
pen into a USB port that is supplied with a charging voltage.
• The battery level will be displayed on the LED battery status indicator (1). The light
turns red when the battery is not fully charged.
• The LED should never turn off, otherwise the battery may overdischarge. It turns off
when the battery is almost empty.
b) Charging the internal battery
• Regularly charge the internal battery on the multifunctional ball pen after prolonged
use.
• Pull the cap (6) off the pen and screw the pen base (3) on to protect the micro-USB
connector (if applicable).
• Connect the USB-A connector (5) to a USB port on a computer or another suitable
USB power source, such as a USB power adapter. Charging begins as soon as the
USB power source delivers a current. The battery status indicator (1) turns red to
indicate that the internal battery is charging. The light turns off when the battery is
fully charged.
• Unplug the multifunctional ball pen from the USB power source when charging is
complete.
• Place the cap back onto the USB connector.
c) Charging a mobile device
• Open the multifunctional ball pen by unscrewing the pen base (3) in an anticlockwise
direction.
• Connect the micro USB plug (4) to the micro USB port on your mobile device.
• Charging begins immediately. The LED battery status indicator (1) turns blue to
indicate that charging is in progress. It turns off when the connected device is fully
charged.
• Monitor the charging process. If you want to interrupt the charging process, remove
the multifunctional ball pen from the mobile device. The blue LED battery status
indicator turns off.
• Always unplug the product from the mobile device after charging is complete.
It is not possible to charge the multifunctional ball pen whilst using it to
charge a mobile device.
d) Overload
• The device turns off automatically in the event of an overload (short circuit). The LED
battery status indicator turns off.
• Reset the product by recharging it using a USB power source.
• Once you have completed the above steps, charge your mobile device or the
internal battery as usual.
e) Other functions
• Use the touchscreen stylus (2) to control a touchscreen.
• To use the pen, hold the tip of the touchscreen stylus (2) and turn the stylus in a
clockwise direction. To hide the pen, turn the stylus in an anticlockwise direction.
• Only use the stylus when the pen is not protruding!
• Use the cap with the screen cleaning sponge (6) to clean small, dusty screens
quickly.
f) Storage and transport
• When you are not using the multifunctional ball pen, screw the pen base (3) onto the
micro-USB port (4), and then place the cap (6) onto the USB-A plug (5).
