• Please read the entire side of this manual carefully before using the car seat
in 5-Point Harness Mode. Keep this manual under the clip on the back of the
car seat for easy reference.
• This child restraint system conforms to all applicable Canadian Motor Vehicle
Safety Standards (sections 213 and 213.2), and is certified for use in motor
vehicles and aircraft.
• This car seat in 5-Point Harness Mode is intended for use by children who: are
at least 1 year old; weigh between 9 and 18 kg (20 and 40 lbs); and are
between 71 and 102 cm (28 and 40 inches) tall. If your child does not meet
these criteria, DO NOT use this car seat in this mode. Depending on the age
and size of your child, your child may be able to use this car seat in Booster
Car Seat Mode 18 - 36 kg (40 - 80 lbs). Please refer to the instructions in the
other side of this owner's manual.
• The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends that a child be at least
1 year old and 9 kg (20 lbs) to ride in a forward-facing car seat.
