beneath the coffee maker.

• Only clean water should be used.
• Don't touch the hot plate while the maker is in operation or immediately after switching off as the hot
plate will be very hot.
• Do not switch on the coffee maker, if there is no water in the water tank or glass pot.
• Don't operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance malfunctions or has
been damaged in any manner.
• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory,
or mental capacities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
• Do not open the top cover during the brew cycle.
• Do not operate the coffee maker while operating a motor vehicle.
SAFETY TIPS
• Use caution when using the unit as the coffee will be HOT.
• Never fill the reservoir with hot water.
• Allow unit to cool before cleaning.
OPERATION Please read these instructions carefully before using the coffee maker.
• Place coffee maker on a flat surface and use the hold down clip if possible.
• Ensure the on/off switch is set to off.
• Clean the glass carafe and filter before using first time.
• Lift the lid and fill with clean water to the desired level.
• Put the appropriate amount of coffee in the filter cone.
• Close the lid.
• Place the carafe on the hot plate.
• Plug the coffee maker into a 15 amp 12 volt outlet.
NOTE: Do not operate this coffee maker with the cord bundled or hidden under carpet or similar. Cord
needs to be in the open air and unrestricted.
• Turn on the coffee maker, the switch will light up and the coffee maker will begin operation. The coffee
maker will turn off after the brew cycle is complete.
• Unplug the coffee maker after use.
NOTE: Turn coffee maker off and allow the coffee maker to cool before making a second pot. Adding
cold water to a hot maker could result in steam escaping and causing burns.
CARE
• When cleaning coffee maker, make sure unit is unplugged.
• Use a damp cloth to clean the water reservoir, hot plate and filter basket cover.
• For a thorough cleaning, fill the reservoir with a mixture of 1/2 white vinegar and 1/2 water.
• Operate the unit as though you were making coffee.
• To rinse, fill the reservoir with cold water and repeat.
TROUBLESHOOTING
• If unit does not operate, check that the power supply is working properly. Check that all cords are
connected properly.
