Operation
1. Make sure that the on/off switch is in position O (off).
2. Connect the power plug to a common household power outlet.
3. Turn the product on (on/off switch to position I). The power indicator built into the on/off
switch lights up when the product is on.
Maintenance and cleaning
Never use any aggressive cleaning agents or chemical solutions as these may cause
damage to the housing or impair the product's functioning.
Do not apply too much pressure to the product's surfaces as this may cause
scratching.
• Besides occasional cleaning, the device is maintenance-free.
• Before cleaning, turn off and unplug the product. Allow it to cool down completely.
• Use a dry, soft and clean cloth to clean the product's exterior surfaces.
• Use an off-the-shelf glass cleaner to clean the glass plate.
• Remove any dust with a long-haired, soft and clean brush or a vacuum cleaner.
Disposal
Electronic devices are recyclable waste and must not be disposed of in the household
waste.
At the end of its service life, dispose of the product according to the relevant statutory
regulations.
You thus fulfil your statutory obligations and contribute to the protection of the environment.
