Possible cause / solutions
•
Check that the power cable is plugged into the
power socket.
•
Check that your TV is configured for the correct
VHF channel or switched to correct AV input.
•
No signal, check presence of signal.
•
Channel is scrambled.
•
Check that tuning and programming parameters
are set correctly.
•
The antenna is not in correct position.
•
LNB wire is damaged or shorting. Check the
LNB for faults.
•
Unplug receiver from power socket and retry.
•
Local terrestrial TV interference, change the
receivers VHF output channel to different one
then re-tune your TV. Select the appropriate 'TV
Standard' using TV SETTINGS menu.
•
Signal weak or noisy. Check signal quality.
•
Antenna is not in correct position.
•
Check the batteries in your remote control.
Replace with new.
•
Apply master password or contact your Fortec
Star dealer.
