NOTE
The need to change the backup batteries is
indicated by the time displayed when the
device is off. If the display becomes
significantly weaker, the batteries should be
changed.
Inserting/replacing the battery
NOTE
Follow the instructions for charging the
battery set out in the charger operating
manual.
 Press the charged battery into the slot on
the device until it snaps fully into place.
 To remove, press the release button (1.)
and take out the battery (2.).
Switching the device on and off
Switching on:
 Press the On/Off button
3 seconds. The device switches on.
The background illumination of the display
lights up. The last used operating mode
(Bluetooth®, AUX or Radio) and volume
setting are retained.

Upon initial operation, the device starts in

"Radio" mode.
Switching off:
 Press the On/Off button
3 seconds. The device switches off.
NOTE
With the device switched off, the time is
displayed if backup batteries are installed,
even if there is no battery in the device.
Setting the time
 Press the
CLOCK
time and hold until the hour display
flashes (1.).
NOTE
If no button is actuated within 10 seconds,
the procedure is interrupted.
 Press the or button to set the hour (2.).

The time is displayed using the 12-hour
format. For the hours 0 to 11.59, the
symbol lights up. For the hours 12
AM
to 23.59, the symbol lights up.
PM
 Briefly press the
CLOCK
The minute display flashes.
 Press the or button to set the minute.
