Description:
Pump complete M14x1 female
A
Test body connector for pump
B
M14x1 male with O-ring
Sealing ∅8.5 x ∅4.5 x 10
B1
Test body connector for test line G1/4 lh male ball-cone connector with sealing B1
B2
Preparation:
1.) Screw pump A on test body connector B.
2.) Connect test line with test body connector B2. (ATTENTION: If the sealing B1 is
mounted, the use of a fork wrench is not necessary!)
Separating the line:
Firmly tighten the knurled screw C against the direction sign, then pump the line up to the maximum
test pressure.
Adjusting a lower test pressure: Slightly loosen the knurled screw C in direction sign until
the pressure gauge shows the requested value, firmly tighten again knurled screw C.
Then wait at least 10 minutes with the required test pressure to compensate temperature.
Now starts the real soundness control (again at least 10 minutes).
In case of pressure drop on the pressure gauge D, all connections, e.g. soldered or
screwed joints of the pipes, must be checked again for leaks.
The overpressure safety device E for the pressure gauge is adjusted to approx. 1.5 bar.
ATTENTION:
After the leak and functional tests all shut-off devices must be closed tightly:
New setting into operation with simultaneous leak test. Check all joints as well as test
connectors for leaks by means of leak detector spray according to DIN EN 14291 or other
suitable foaming agents. The leak test has only a positive result if it is "tight".
MAINTENANCE
Handle pressure gauges with care, always keep them in the portable tester.
•
Regularly check the measuring accuracy of the pressure gauge.
