1. Preventing the spread of infection:
The appliance reduces the airborne microbial
load in order to prevent airborne infection

direct contact with contaminants or saliva spray.
If you are sick, you should continue to follow the
usual protection precautions such as sneezing
into your elbow or wearing a mask to prevent any
spray from your mouth and nose.
2. Particulate matter:
If the appliance is in an environment with a
particle load over PM2.5, its filter will need to be
