Disposing of the exhausted battery
A battery pack containing lithium batteries, at end-of-life should be disposed of in
accordance with current regulations and cannot be disposed of as simple waste.

17.1. This battery model cannot be used with other
models. Avoid using the same battery for different
bicycles.
17.2. Even if compatible, never use other non-original
batteries.
17.3. For safety reasons, the bicycle electrical system is
equipped with a special fuse that protects all electronic
instrumentation from any power surges. If the bike does
not work, check the integrity of the fuse. The fuse is
located on the right side of the battery and to remove
and control it, a cross screwdriver must be used.
The European Directive for this type of waste is Directive 2006/66/
EC which states that the States adhering to this Convention must
undertake to adopt "appropriate measures" in order that exhausted
accumulators are collected separately for their possible recovery or
disposal.
